Dinah completed her undergraduate degree in Health
Studies at Queen's University in 1991 and went on to The University of
Toronto where she graduated with a BSc in Physical Therapy in 1995.
Upon completing her university studies, Dinah became an
active member of the Ontario section of the Sport Physio division of the CPA.
She joined the provincial executive, which she chaired for 4 years, and has
since been a member of the National Sport Physio executive. Her role was
concerned primarily with the National, post graduate education system within the
Sport Physio division. Dinah earned her Diploma of Sport Physiotherapy in 2007.
She completed her Certificate of Manual therapy in 2001 and her Diploma of
Manual & Manipulative therapy in 2005.
Dinah is committed to education; she is status faculty at The
University of Toronto faculty of Medicine and teaches in the Dance department at
George Brown College. She has been honoured with teaching and mentorship awards
from many students. She is a clinical teacher for both Canadian and
International Physical Therapy students and Medical Doctor residents and
fellows.
Dinah travels nationally and internationally as a
physiotherapist for events such as Skate Canada, Canada Games, World Ultimate.
Years of ballet training brings a technical eye to her treatment of dancers and
performing artists from professional and recreational programs.
Dinah has worked with recreational to international level
athletes through the years. She has traveled around the world to international
Figure and Synchronized Skating events, and Ultimate Frisbee challenge cups.
She has participated as a medical team member for Winter and Summer Canada Games
and Special Olympic events.
Dinah is a co-owner of Pivot Sport Medicine and Orthopaedics
