Claire
Moscone | Angela Greco |
Claire Moscone has over 15 years of athletic
experience. She is a fourth degree black belt and was ranked first
in Canada
for 10 years and was the World Champion in 2001. Currently, she is
in her fourth year of Osteopathy and has completed a Specialized Honours
BSc in Kinesiology as well as an Athletic Therapy Degree. Claire has extensive
experience in the assessment, rehabilitation and prevention of numerous
musculoskeletal injuries for athletes ranging from professional
athletes, Toronto Aeros (a professional women's hockey team), to weekend
warriors.

Angela Greco has 18 years of experience
working in the field of sports injury rehabilitation and healing in Canada,
USA and Europe. She graduated from
University of Western Ontario’s Physical Education Program in 1984
specializing in Sports Injuries and Dance and from University of Toronto in
1987 with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy.
At U of T she was a lab instructor for Anatomy in the school of PHE.
In 1989 she obtained her Certification in Sports Physiotherapy and in
1993 became a Certified Athletic Therapist in Canada.
She has recently completed her training at the Canadian College of
Osteopathy in Toronto and is presently working on her research thesis to be
presented in 2007. Angela is
primarily treating clients with manual osteopathy at Pivot.
Angela began her work at Women’s College Hospital and the University of
Toronto’s David L. MacIntosh Athletic Injuries clinic in the late 80’s
where she did sports specific treatment and training with elite/Olympic level,
intercollegiate and recreational athletes and was the team therapist for
basketball, rugby, football, ice hockey and several other varsity sports.
She spent 3 years as a full time therapist with the National Ballet School of
Canada and also instructed Anatomy for the Dance Teacher Trainer Program.
After this time, Angela was selected to lead the European division,
touring with Cirque du Soleil “Saltimbanco” production and head therapist
in Florida with “La Nouba”. Angela
spent 5 years with Cirque du Soleil and also worked on the North American tour
of “Quidam” where she gained valuable experience working with acrobats,
performing artists, singers, dancers and contortionists.
She works well with artists with hypermobility syndromes.
She has recently worked with the National Ballet Company of Canada.
It is her passion to work with performing artists and dancers.
Angela has been a member of the Canadian Medical Team at the 1999 Pan
American Games in Winnipeg, 2001 and 2005 World University Games in Beijing and
Turkey, 2001 and 2005 Maccabia Games in Israel, and Therapist traveling with the
Canadian team at 1999 Four Continents Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, 1989 and
1991 Ontario Rugby team to USA and the U.K and several Canada Games working with
various sports. She has been highly involved covering international, national
and provincial sports teams and events such as Figure Skating, Artistic and
Rhythmic Gymnastics, Synchronized Swimming, Rugby, Swimming/Diving, Judo, Soccer
and various other sports.
Angela served on the Ontario Sports Physiotherapy Executive for 3 years and
is presently on the Board of Directors of Polarity Therapy in
Ontario.
Angela integrates various skills in manual therapy and healing including her
training in muscle energy techniques, zero balancing, cranio-sacral therapy,
somato-emotional release, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, mechanical
link, strain-counter-strain, mindfulness meditation, yoga, polarity therapy,
sound healing, transpersonal psychotherapy, and intuitive healing. Angela has
studied yoga for 10 years and was certified to teach yoga in 2000. She has also
trained with Jon Kabat-Zinn and is certified to teach mindfulness meditation for
stress reduction.
Angela has done extensive traveling around the world, training with various
people in the healing professions and worked with many different cultures and
integrates this knowledge into her practice in facilitating healing of the whole
person with osteopathy, conscious awareness and integration of the
mind-body-spirit connection to health for natural harmony and well being.
