Katrina’s interest in manual therapy began as a result of her own personal injuries and her successful results obtained through manual therapy. She has 15 years extensive experience in manual therapy when her career commenced as a Registered Massage Therapist. This was followed by becoming a Certified Acupuncturist. She also has taken numerous professional development courses through the years which have enhanced her knowledge in manual therapy.

Katrina’s passion for learning how to heal through manual therapy led her to complete a 2 year Osteopathic Science program followed by a 5 year graduate program in Osteopathic Manual Practice. Her graduating research thesis reflected positive results on the effects of osteopathic manual treatment on breast cancer patients who experienced cognitive function difficulties as a result of chemotherapy.

Katrina is actively involved as a juror and advisor on the thesis committee for the Canadian College of Osteopathy, helping future graduates in their research protocol.

She has extensive experience treating Motor Vehicle Accident patients, brain injuries, repetitive strain injuries, acute and chronic pain, sports injuries and prevention. Her practice includes all individuals who desire a healthy and active lifestyle.
